Admissions difference between 3.89 and a 3.9?
Hello,
I have calculated my lsac gpa using the law school predictor lsac gpa calculator (does anyone know how accurate it is?) and it told me my lsac gpa would be a 3.89. After playing around on it a bit it seems that if I took a few more classes I could have a 3.9. I was wondering how big of a difference this would make at a t14 school? Normally I would fiqure such a small difference wouldn't matter but since it is a difference of of getting to the next number I thought it would make a difference.
I appreciate any thoughts/comments/advice. Thanks in advance!

Insignificant. Either is around median at HYS and above 75th everywhere else but Berkeley.

The difference between an admit and reject at Harvard. Seriously.

Gonna be hard to get into a T1 with a 3.89. Sorry about your luck.

I am actually at 3.88 right now. I will have a 3.92 by end of semester. Think my chances will improve quite a bit next cycle?

Hey,
this thread isn't a "flame" and I didn't intend for it to sound that way. I am looking for legitimate answers since this has been bothering me.
Where you guys serious about it being that big of a deal? Like an auto-admit over a wait-list or an acceptance over a rejection?
I appreciate the responses, but it would be better if I could tell which were jokes and which were serious. Thanks for the answers!
