NYU... NYU... Please come in, NYU... (Radio Silence)

Post by Sequoia90 » Fri Apr 02, 2010 8:58 am

So, my application to NYU went complete during the first week in November for regular decision, but I still have not heard even a murmur about it's fate. My phone call last week involved a nice lady, with the faint noise of someone frantically typing in the background, who told me that my application was still under review.

Every other school sent out these decisions months ago...

Is anyone else in the same boat? Are they really ever going to let me know their decision?

Or is it more likely that my application has blown out an open window, drifted over Battery Park, and is now floating down the Eastern Seaboard?

I hear they've been sending out rejections pretty steadily, so hopefully it's a tremendous wave of acceptances.

There are a billion other people in the same boat (Columbia too seems to be taking its sweet time). I don't know if you've been to ASWs recently, but a lot of people have said they're still waiting on NYU. Definitely a big pile of waitlists.
