Cardozo PT May or Jan FT?

Post by dhg5004 » Wed Mar 31, 2010 1:27 pm

So Cardozo is my number one choice...I applied very late (stupid I know but I didn't realize I really wanted to go there until I began researching it in FEbruary) I applied at the start of March....my numbers are low 155 3.3 gpa 3.67 major gpa. But i work full time for a marketing & communications firm and my personal statement is very good.

So I applied for the May program and probably will not hear for a few weeks...sucks...but I heard Cardozo is known for doing this. Anyway, if I applied for the May program is it a good or bad idea to apply for the January program starting next year? Am I even allowed to do this? Do they still consider you? I've been wondering for days and of course the admissions office is closed until the end of the week.......so thought I'd ask on here.

Does anyone know anything about this? Any advice? And no I'm not retaking the LSAT I already took it twice and my score only went up 1 point :-/ taking the LSAT more than 2 times is admissions suicide....even if the score is a few points higher...according to someone I know who works on an admissions committee at a T14 school.

Someone! Help! :)

thanks

hi
i hope that you get into the may program soon! i have heard that the january program has harder admissions standards becuase it is a 2.5 year program whereas the may start is 3.5 year program. you can apply for january start next year, but i think that application isnt available yet. not sure if this helps you, but you could check with admissions staff for more info.
