Do adcomms look at the classes you took?

Post by honestabe84 » Sat Mar 27, 2010 4:10 pm

I'm tempted to to take some easier classes in an effort to boost my GPA. However, I'm concerned that this will look bad to adcomms. Do they actually look at which classes you took (i.e. the subject and level)?

They don't care. Get as high a GPA as you can.

Because it's a numbers game to such a large degree, I don't think affects admissions decisions. But in terms of scholarship offers, I think adcoms do pursue the best applicants the hardest, and that takes into consideration the difficulty of classes and also UG institution.
