and to answer your question: i've only ever 'befriended' someone if i have actually met him or her in person and had extended conversations. so, i would act accordingly regardless of the person's title. which dean has an e-harmony account? jeez. you know everything.

Is this somehow related to another thread where you asked about what you should do if your ex is on an adcom?beef wellington wrote:how do you know about this?Peter North wrote:I know of one other high-profile T14 admissions Dean who has a profile on eHarmony.

I'd just date the adcomm's child.
If they are under 18, date the wife.
If they are single, date the mom.

Hypothetically, if you were an adcomm, would you mind if someone friended you on a social networking site?

Uh what? I don't really want to start this thread in every place that North posts, but that post is still a mimic of the blog that shall not be named.. Oddly though in the first paragraph after e-Harmony should have ended with an exclamation mark.neskerdoo wrote:well there goes the theory about error-free, impeccable posts
BTW, I wouldn't friend them until after admitted.

Sorry PN. You are not fooling anyone.
After the bombshell of a thread, PN tries to reintegrate back in to the TLS community. Oldest trick in the book. Sorry PN. No one's buying it.
Conclusive proof that PN is AR: http://www.top-law-schools.com/forums/v ... 2&t=112109
I rest my case.

Dude, don't mess with the mods. Your alt was banned once, stop messing around before your main account is IP banned.keeping_an_open_mind wrote:Don't be stupid man. There is nothing hypothetical about this. See my above post.zozin wrote:Hypothetically, if you were an adcomm, would you...

+1, If you don't have permission don't do it. I also don't want all the North threads to be ambushed.. They are too classic for that...zozin wrote:Dude, don't mess with the mods. What are you doing? Beta said the IPs didn't match. It's not her.keeping_an_open_mind wrote:Sorry PN. You are not fooling anyone.

Re: Social networking with adcomms. Your thoughts?
Two options: (1) PN is not AR and is kind of stupid. (2) PN is AR and she relies on your intelligence when she posts the exact type of posts that allegedly linked her to AR in hopes that TLSers will conclude that she is not the real AR because she tries hard to convince them that she is AR.
If option 2 is the right one, I am pissed. Get your ass back to your office, Ms. AR, and don't log onto TLS/ Linkedin/ pornographic websites (I am assuming we are not PN's fans because of his Con Law publications, correct?) until you send my file to faculty review!

Re: Social networking with adcomms. Your thoughts?
I have one adcom as a friend. But it's at a school I am no longer interested in.Peter North wrote:Josh R. from HLS is on Facebook. Asha R. from YLS is on LinkedIn. I know of one other high-profile T14 admissions Dean who has a profile on eHarmony. Various other Tier 1 admissions deans are on social networking sites.
Would it be appropriate for a perspective applicant to add the adcomm member as a "friend" or communicate with them just out of the blue?

Perhaps I'm a little wet behind the ears, but why was that thread locked?keeping_an_open_mind wrote:Sorry PN. You are not fooling anyone.
