Wait-list Question

Post by sternc » Wed Mar 24, 2010 7:04 pm

Has anyone ever heard of someone being granted admission off the wait-list and getting some sort of scholarship? Do schools ever give money to wait-list acceptances?

You can get a scholarship if you have been YP'ed onto a waitlist. You can also apply to any scholarships (including outside scholarships) for which the deadline has not passed when you are admitted. You may be able to get need based financial aid if there is any left.
But mostly the answer is no.
