I had 4 alcohol related citations during college (graduated 1 yr ago) and I don't think they have affected me all, tbh. One school asked for clarification on a matter, that's about it.

Were they all relatively minor (i.e. drinking in a dorm), or were any of them more serious (i.e. DUI)?

I have 2 public intoxications, 2 underages (what can i say, i party). I guess I would consider them minor.

I think my misdemeanor assault and battery from seven years ago may have put me on the WL for a school that should be showering me with $$...but another similar school admitted me and showed me the $$.

I can't answer because I have no idea why certain schools accepted or rejected me, but my guess would be no impact except maybe for at Minnesota.

i have a felony charge from when I was 16 and I got into Harvard. It doesn't hurt you as long as you are honest and upfront about it.

My cycle thus far tends to indicate that schools who require disclosure of traffic violations do not hold them against you. My one speeding ticket may not be enough to go by though.
