I highly doubt those schools would do something so unprofessional. Even if you're an auto-reject, they'll still humor you by following all the steps they take for all applicants.

stanford did that to me... I just got an "Application Received," then "Missing Dean's Form (form c or whatever)", then no follow-up that it had arrived, then a rejection letter in the mail randomly. I really hate schools without status checkers

A vast majority of applicants don't hear anything from Stanford until they get a decision. hthNYC2013 wrote:stanford did that to me...
