31 y/o non trad who is 10 years removed from undergrad studies.
I moved 2000 miles away from my undergraduate institution after completion of degree to pursue my professional interests. I have not had any contact or communication with my schools alumni network in a decade.
Thus, my question is, as a non trad in my 30's, is a letter of recommendation from an undergrad professor a requirement? Nobody there has any knowledge of my professional or personal growth in the last 10 years.
So....undergrad LOR????? Yes????? No????? Thoughts????
(Yes I have professional LOR's which are outstanding)
Thank you in advance for any opinions or insight.

Re: Letter of Recommendation question...........
Most schools only require academic LOR's from students who are straight out of undergrad. I think I've seen some schools ask for academic LOR's from students 1 or 2 years removed from undergrad. If you are 10 years out, your professional LOR's are all that's required.

Re: Letter of Recommendation question...........
Most schools, at least all the ones I applied to, said that they preferred academic LORs. But all of them also had a visible disclaimer that they realize some applicants have been out of undergrad for awhile and work references are fine for them. You're in the clear . . . adcomms are not naive, they don't expect someone 10 years out of undergrad to try to grovel an old Prof for an LOR.
