Can Recommenders send in LOR via FAX?

Post by SandyC877 » Wed Feb 24, 2010 3:55 pm

If I send in a signed form to my recommender, can the recommender fax the forms to LSAC? Will LSAC take it on faith that the fax was sent from the actual recommender and not the applicant?

I really don't think it even matters if you send it in yourself. And yes, they do accept faxes.

Just tell the recommender to fax it. Mine mailed it initially and after a month I asked her if she can fax it instead. It posted in two days.

Yes, they can be faxed. That's what the signature is for.
