Letter of Recommendation faxed? ---- URGENT
Can letters of recommendation be faxed to LSAC? I do not see a fax number anywhere on the website and this is an urgent matter. Can anybody help?

False. They can be faxed. I don't have the fax number any longer, but all of mine were faxed in. Call LSAC tomorrow morning and ask for it.

Happy to pass this along: 215-504-1444 is the fax.
It can be very busy, so just ask your recommenders to make sure they get a confirmation on the fax. Trust me, this saves like 7 days in processing, as mine went up within 24-48 hours from the time they were faxed. Good luck!

Weird. I Emailed them this cycle and received a response within 15 minutes that included the fax number...
I guess it depends who answers your question!

Yes, you definitely can. My recommenders faxed mine on the same day in January and they both showed up in less than 2 hours. It was amazing. And that fax number listed above is the correct number.

If LOR's are faxed, do they have to include the LSAC form?

Dang. Wish I would have known about this option a couple of weeks ago. My second LOR should still beat my deadlines though. *crosses fingers*im_blue wrote:yesbgdddymtty wrote:If LOR's are faxed, do they have to include the LSAC form?

For some reason mailed LORs can take 1-2 weeks after receipt for LSAC to process and post, while faxed LORs typically post within the day. I'm guessing they're content to let mail pile up, but there's no convenient way to store unprocessed faxes.bgdddymtty wrote:Dang. Wish I would have known about this option a couple of weeks ago.
