Interview Questions!

Post by terpette » Mon Feb 22, 2010 11:53 am

I have a phone interview and in-person interview with a Dean of Admissions and Director of Admissions later this week and while I was doing some research and prepping for these, I noticed that there doesn't seem to be a whole lot on TLS.

For my sake, and others who may have interviews in the near future, I was hoping to see if anyone could post some of the questions they've been asked or, more importantly, questions they have/would ask someone from admissions during an interview (questions, of course, that you couldn't really find an answer for by doing research on your own about that school).

Just thought this could be helpful for others like me who are about to do some interviewing! :)

bump, please...I think this could be helpful

One thing I think I may ask about is the availability of/option for interdisciplinary research with other departments on campus and the school's overall involvement with these other academic departments.

Just make sure you have a decent answer for why you want to go to Law school and why you want to go to the law school that you are being interviewed by. Also have a decent question or two to ask them. Don't over think it, just make sure you know some stuff about the school and just be yourself, I am sure you will do great! They are interviewing you because they are very close to accepting you, so that's a good sign!
