Establishing Texas Residency

Post by VerdiShmerdi » Wed Feb 17, 2010 4:09 pm

Judging from the establishing a domicile language on UT Law's website, it seems like it would be impossible to establish residency in Texas as a student unless someone is wealthy enough to buy property, gets married, or runs a business in their spare time. Am I missing something?

It is basically impossible to gain Texas residency in three years, on the University of Houston's website they say to just go ahead and plan on paying out of state tution for all three years.
