SEO Breakdown

I know very little about SEO but interested in finding out more about it. Is it a very reputable program? Will it be a valuable experience that will benefit me in law school and so on or is it just a good opportunity to make some scratch before law school?

I had planned on taking off a year or two but was contacted by SEO, applied and was offered an interview today. Is it an experience I can't afford to miss out on, so much so that I should do it and just start law school in the fall? I applied and still haven't heard back but was planning on deferring... any advice, insight or info would be appreciated!!
