Post by thelawz09 » Tue Feb 16, 2010 1:26 pm

Is there a list of how long it takes, on average, to go from completion to decision for the top 14?

I'm ancy!

it varies a little bit by school...the best way I've found to obsess about this is to go to lsn, go to the "applicants" tab for whichever school and then sort by "completed." You should be able to scroll to people who completed their applications the same time as you and see if they've gotten decisions yet. The other thing is that it seems like some schools do their notifications in waves. So you can also sort by the "decision" date to see if that school has sent decisions lately.

Thanks! I'll try that.

A few law school admissions offices have Twitter feeds too that give insight as when the "waves" are coming. Yale teases me by posting things like, "Didn't get a call yesterday? There's always today." Of course this doesn't help you keep your sanity...

Wow, this is (one of the many reasons) why Twitter is everything wrong with the world.
