I don't think that anybody on here can really help you. You need to do what you think will make you happiest. Good luck!

K12 teaching is a horror story IMO. Look very closely at both careers before you let the economy scare you away from law.

confuzzled,
IMO you should try teaching to start. if you love it, you can stay with it. if after 1-2 years you realize that it is bad, or you want a more exciting career or whatever, go to law school.
this is a much smarter path then going to law school, working 1-2 years of biglaw, and realizing you want to become a teacher

Re: T10 or teaching?
I think you have like 5 more days till the last teach for america deadline.
apply to teach for america and teach for two years and find out if its what you want to do
also almost all schools will automatically defer your admissions for two years if you do teach for america
or if you want to reaply schools will compete for any teach for america alumn.

High school teaching can be fun but if you're looking for something intellectually or academically challenging you're probably going to be disappointed.
Most of the stuff you'll teach in high school you can do your sleep if you're good at what you do.
I teach and I'm pretty bored most of the day.
Also, look into Obama's Race to the Top plan...and get to know how NCLB and the combo of the two will affect your job.
