What are my chances at a top 30?

Post by pufizer » Wed Feb 10, 2010 7:21 pm

I am African-American male, 27, graduated from top 3 public, 2.8, 160, played golf collegiately all four years, spent the last 4/5 years playing professional golf on mini-tours and the nationwide tour and spent last year working for the PGA Tour. Think my case is somewhat unique....???? who knows.....

I didn't apply to any top 30s but your story seems pretty unique and I doubt they have many professional golfers applying! Your LSAT score is good for some of them but your GPA could hurt you.
How about your LOR's and PS? Pretty good? Those could help push you over the edge.

Any chance you can retake the LSAT and bump your score 5 more points? That would be a huge help.

I would check out each school that you apply to fora sports or entertainment law then adjust your PS to match their program.

LOL this was my exact thought.

To the OP, that's a pretty sick story. Best of luck to you on your cycle.

OP Good luck! I think you have a good chance if you put together a "full package" and a good story...
