Schools that focus on degree gpa

Post by thatdude222 » Tue Feb 09, 2010 8:47 pm

Anyone have any ideas on which schools place more emphasis on your Degree GPA rather than your Cumulative GPA? I did three years of undergrad at one school with mostly subpar grades. I then transferred to another school, changed my major and did significantly better so my cumulative and degree gpa's as listed by LSAC are drastically different. I wish schools would pay more attention to the degree gpa. Any that given it significant weight in the admissions process?

Sorry, LSDAS GPA gets reported to ABA and US News, so that's what counts.

The University of Colorado, Seattle University and the University of Vermont apparently use degree rather than cummulative GPA. Colorado is T1.
