Does anyone else think that this process is going very, very slowly?

Don't worry about it at all. You're a month out from when you applied and you happened to apply when everyone else was doing the same. I applied in November and only had one decision a month later. You should expect to wait until March or April for them all to get back, particularly the reaches.

Sounds like the precursor to the more advanced "200 Customized Cover Letters and 0 Interviews"

I figured that I would have more responses... Most of my applications to schools where my numbers exceeded their medians. I´m hoping for $cholarships. At least Washington and Lee gave me a fatty...

Wait, your bitching about four responses and you applied a month ago? I applied in late November and have 0 responses.

Not really. I applied to 15 and have heard back from 3. I think that's pretty good for only applying in january.

I wish... I've heard from NYU because I was ED, but they deferred me to the regular decision pool so that's not really a decision (though it's basically a rejection/waitlist waiting to happen).

Anyone think a LOCI to these schools would be a good idea?

I put out 25 applications between 11/23 and 12/3. I've only gotten four responses but I keep checking the status checkers like I have OCD.

I feel for the OP. I do. His month-long agony is so heart-wrenching.

Hey BU, remember that application I sent and you said was going in to review around Thanksgiving? Nevermind, put his first.

I applied to Yale at 10:30 this morning and STILL haven't heard anything. Who do they think they are? This is just ridiculous- I am writing my withdrawal email right now.
