I currently go to Hofstra Law School.
I finished the fall semester with the following grades for a final GPA of 3.08:
Legal Writing: B
Contracts: B+
Torts: B+
Civil Procedure: B+
Criminal Law: C+
I do have good softs but I am a traditional student with only two years work experience. I am planning on trying for journal and moot court. I really want to transfer out to a school in DC where I eventually want to practice.
Do I have any shot at schools like GULC, American and GW? Where should I apply that I will have a good chance of getting in?

Do you know the cutoff for the top 10% fall? Assuming even a B- curve, GULC and GW still seem to be out of the question.toribiom wrote:I currently go to Hofstra Law School.

No, I've spoken to academic success but they say that ranks and anything pertaining to it won't be out till after spring semester grades.
Do you think a transfer to another T1 school would be ascertainable?

You are probably going to need to be around top 5% to transfer to GULC, top 5-10% for GW, top 10-15% for American and most other T1 schools.
