Has anyone ever lost an acceptance?

Post by rockchalk86 » Wed Jan 27, 2010 8:33 pm

Out of curiosity, has anyone ever done anything to lose their offer of acceptance besides withdrawing from an ED? Is it even possible? I would think you would have to really piss off somebody? I am not in this situation, I'm just curious if there are any ridiculous stories out there.

I'm not speaking for any experience or absolute knowledge here, but I imagine a gross misrepresentation or lie on your application (that the school subsequently uncovers), a criminal conviction, failing classes in your spring semester if you're still in undergrad (or just failing to graduate from undergrad), etc. could all get your admission revoked. Possibly other things I'm not thinking of could do so as well.

Wow... karate chop... plus calling Sotomayor a member of the "Latino KKK," sounds like a class act.

Once you pay for first semesters tuition, you can say as much racist stuff as you want, right?

Almost positive law students have a code of conduct. Gain admittance into any program does not give you a license to start hurling racial slurs, sexually harassing girls, etc.
