Could I lose my accptance if I...

Post by Onion » Mon Jan 25, 2010 4:08 pm

If I told schools I would not be applying for loans and financial aid, and something has changed post being granted admission to a school and I now need to apply for FAFSA, could I lose my admissions to schools? Do I need to let schools who I told I was not applying for aid, know that I now am applying?

I'd let them know if something changes, but I don't think they can rescind an acceptance. Nor do I think they'd care at all, seeing as they get their money regardless of how you pay for it.

I think you should be fine, but call one of the schools to confirm that it won't be a problem.

Alright thanks, I think that is a good idea to call one school (one I probably will not attend) to find out.
