I wish I hadn't waited so long but does anyone know around when I'll hear? What is the chance of admissions at this point?

Anyone who has recently heard mind sharing their stats?

I heard back a little less than two weeks ago. Accepted into the May program, 164/3.5

Does anyone know the typical "part-time" May schedule? How many classes are you supposed to take in your first semester? I just found out that Cardozo doesn't offer an evening program (damn).

I saw that a full-time 1L starts at 8 am and classes go to 7 pm. Each class is approx. 1 - 1.5 hours. At this point I believe we (pt'ers) follow a similar schedule except we start in May while they start in the fall.

Also I shouldn't be saying we because I am still on the WL. Anyone know what percentage of people are admitted off the WL? Anyone care to guess?

Normally I would ask all these questions to a Cardozo representative however no one was kind enough to return my phone call.

Hi. Here's the typical May program schedule for the 1st semester (I received this after giving my deposit)

10am - 3:20pm Mon-Thu throughout most of the semester.

10-11:50 - morning classes
1:30-3:20 - afternoon classes

Some days, there will only be one class per day!! So don't get stressed - the first year will be rather slow :)

payton34, will you be attending in May? It seems like your numbers can get you into a better/higher ranked school...

So for those who go that "are you still interested in the May program" email - the part that mentioned that sometimes they don't send decisions until the first week of class.... seriously? That's the only part that is kind of distressing, though I already sent several emails stating my interest in either FT or May PT. I'm really hoping I get in, after the disastrous cycle I've had it would be quite a relief.

I didn't get the email asking if I still had continued interest, is that a bad sign? I'm 161, 3.5. I went complete about 10 weeks ago and haven't heard anything yet.

For the people who did get the email, are your numbers better than mine?

I did not get the email either - but I have emailed them relatively recently expressing continued interest (162/3.3)

Yeah, from what I understand the email was for people who had been waitlisted and wanted to remain on the waitlist.

Me: Complete in early January, Waitlisted mid-January.
160/3.6

Have you been waitlisted? I think the email went out to people that have been waitlisted recently and they wanted to ensure that you are indeed still interested in remaining on the waitlist. I'm not sure the email was for people with pending applications

Ah I see. I still have no decision. Guess it doesn't apply to me.

Good luck!

Now I have exactly one month to quite my job, wrap things up here, and find an apartment.

Hey my girlfriend got into the pt program with 161/3.5 and I initially applied to the pt program but upon learning they do not hand out merit scholarships switchew my appication to ft. Pt program just spreads out what the ft students do in two semesters into three semesters.

Has there been any action for anyone on the waitlist?

I am waitlisted for fall, and still am being cosidered for May, however I know that they are trying to finalize the list in the coming days. That being said, if there is a waitlist for this may program, i bet it means that they are already "over extended" as it is..
there goes my chances....

So there are 3 weeks of continued anguish. What are other people's plans if they don't get into Cardozo? Have you put down deposits elsewhere?

I've become numb to Cardozo at this point. I have a deposit in at Villanova and am on 4 additional waitlists... I really want to be in NY though, so here's to hoping Cardozo comes through

Hi everyone! I have been complete for Cardozo May Program since early March, today I checked my status and it said 'Decision Rendered and Sent' but I didn't receive a phone call nor did the Deposit fees change from 0 to a different number.

Is this a safe bet that I'm rejected. I'm incredibly impatient and NEED to know!

let me know what you guys think! thanks!

Seriously? What are you waiting for?

Now there's a charge.
Just kidding ... it's still FREE!
