Question about VA Residency

Post by mahoney657 » Thu Jan 21, 2010 8:21 pm

If I have a parent in VA that has lived there for years, claims me on their tax return, and basically funds my life can I apply to UVA as an in state student even if I don't live in VA since I am their dependent?

Somebody @ my school told me I could, and then somebody else told me the exact opposite, so I would appreciate any help!

just ask for it. if your case is special, you will receive a followup email with more detailed questions. do it fast, because your application doesn't get reviewed until residency is confirmed/denied.
