Pass/Fail Classes. Do I have too many?

Post by OvertheBridge » Thu Jan 21, 2010 4:59 pm

Quick Questions:

This semester (which is my last semester. I graduate in May), I'm taking two 4 unit classes for a grade from my major department as well as three 1 and 2 unit classes that are only offered on Pass/Fail basis (outside of my major, just for fun). So basically, this semester my GPA will only by comprised on those two grades. Is this frowned upon?

Does my schedule appear too lax this semester by having these three pass/fail classes?

*note: I've taken 5 other classes on a Pass/Fail basis during my 7 semesters in college. Mostly because these classes are seminars or special topic classes that are only offered on the P/f basis.

I don't think it matters. I ended up with the same number of P/NP classes (most were just a unit or two and were only offered on a P/NP basis...same as you) and it hasn't negatively affected me. Good luck!
