The fact they want your grades is probably a good sign. The fact you dropped...not so good.

I think the fact that they're asking means that they're genuinely considering you. That's good. As for your GPA dropping...yeah, that's not so great, BUT! with only a .01 decrease I honestly don't think it's going to matter much. I think the primary purpose for asking for grades is to make sure you didn't bomb your Fall semester (as opposed to fishing for upward trends).
So, personally, I think that since your Fall grades are (mostly) in line with your previous work they're going to decide just as they were before asking, one way or the other.

FWIW i was asked for a fall grade request from columbia...i ED'd there. I raised my GPA by .03 and was deferred.
