Criminal addendum missing an arrest

Post by geostuck » Fri Jan 15, 2010 10:14 pm

yea, so I have a fairly extensive background from enjoying my youth a bit too much. Anyhow, I sent an app out missing an arrest, I was not convicted of anything, but I forgot to pay the balance of fine from an outstanding DUI-> neg driving. The arrest was 15 years ago.

Do I submit an addendum to the addendum and expect the LSAC to forward it to the school? Or contact the school.

You'd better do something if you plan on passing the char. and fitness part of the bar someday...

So your advice is that I "do something"? Gee, thanks... I thought it was clear.

You need to send it directly to the schools (I left an addendum out of one of my apps by mistake, noticed it the next day and sent it to admissions at that school).

I've had a problem similar to this... I called the school and asked if I could e-mail them the attachment and they were fine with that.

Thanks, I appreciate the input. I was hoping to bypass the LSAC, which apparently I can.

Now I can rest easy knowing I will have a shot at passing the C&F. The legal job market would quickly improve, if they added “social skills” or "maturity" to the “C” portion.
