Between The John Marshall Law School in Chicago and New York Law School where would you go? I live in Chicago and know the idea of working in a large law firm does not appeal to me. It is unrealistic and from my experience working at a Plaintiffs firm it seems like you make more money doing PI in your own shop anyways.
The question I have is why NYLS is trashed by so many people? It has a brand new 200 million dollar renovated campus, great faculty, and is in Manhattan. It also seems like there is a huge Alumni Network...
John Marshall in Chicago also gets a bad wrap, but I know the reasons for this.
