So how much did you spend?
How much did you end up spending on applications?
Sad to say I think I ended up spending about a grand, even with some fee waivers. I applied to about 20 schools.

I paid for four apps. (stupid Indiana sent my waiver 12 hours after I paid for it). I spent about $225 (est.) Applied for 7 schools total. I feel like I got a decent deal given fee waivers and what not.

Re: So how much did you spend?
Being a splitter blows. Applied very broadly, and even with a lot of fee waivers, dropped somewhere around $700.
All I got to show for it is: 1 Accept, 3 WL's, 2 Def., and 1 Reject.- so the $ should go up some more now that I'm in full panic mode.
The lesson: kids, do well in school.

Re: So how much did you spend?
Sadly, I spent like $1,000 last year when I had already received 5 fee waivers from T14's. I was applying to schools in hopes of receiving a full-ride ... it was all a huge waste of money.

Not really an accept I'm truly considering though (fee waiver app.). I'm still waiting to hear from many schools, but losing some steam to my law school enthusiasm. Of course, that would probably change if I can ever get an outright accept to a Top 25 program.

$0 on applications, but $150 on a call to China to one of my LOR writers.

Probably around $700 for applications, almost $400 for all the LSAC fees, not counting report fees.
I submitted paid applications to two schools I wouldn't apply to if I could do it over again, so now I feel bad about filing a somewhat long-shot, but mildly realistic, bid for Michigan.

I think about $120 for 14 schools (all the $12 processing fee or whatever the LSAC calls it).
Who spends a grand!?!?!

I was just so afraid I won't be accepted anywhere! I am STILL soliciting fee waivers in an attempt to help myself sleep at night.beesknees wrote:I think about $120 for 14 schools (all the $12 processing fee or whatever the LSAC calls it).

When you're someone who has no hope of making it into a top 20 or most top 30 schools, you're forced to look for chances where they lie. 3 of my schools are reaches, 4 are safeties, rest are middlers.

The Stanford and Harvard apps are pricey, but the rest were waivers. The $12 per app can add up pretty quickly though if you apply to a lot of schools.

Re: So how much did you spend?
I am a splitter (175, 2.98) I have a good job and the money is not that big of a deal. I applied to 25 schools because I had no idea who would accept someone with a sub 3.0 GPA. I am going to be spending so much on school that this $1000 will not make much difference in the end but getting into a better school because I paid for the application fee will make it worth it.beesknees wrote:I think about $120 for 14 schools (all the $12 processing fee or whatever the LSAC calls it).

Apps kicked me in the balls. I thought it was ok because I was waived at more then half the places I applied. Oh how wrong I was when I saw the bill ~ $600

Re: So how much did you spend?
I noticed some people weren't sure about how much they spent; on the LSAC website if you click "My Account" in the bottom left(ish) area there is a header "My Account Reports" and under it a link "View Detailed Report about Your Purchases and Payments." Remember this will include your LSAT registrations and LSDAS registration, too.

Re: So how much did you spend?
Spent 470 bucks on Apps, 264 or whatever on 2 lsat administrations, 100ish on LSAT prep materials.
I applied to 10 schools total, 5 were waived and 5 were not.
