This is the LSAT Addendum I sent to all the schools asking for one. It's true and to the point. I have already been accepted to one of the schools I sent it to. Schools don't want excuses. They want a simple explanation.

My September LSAT score of 155 was not because of lack of effort. Leaving the exam, I actually believed I performed quite well. When I received my score, I was horrified. I had two options at that point. 1) Call it quits. Maybe law school isn’t for me. Or 2) Study twice as hard, and know that a 155 was truly not indicative of my capabilities. I chose the latter.

I did not submit an addendum explaining my score increase because I honestly did not have any explanation for it. I just wasn't prepared enough for the previous tests and I did study abit more for December 09 test. 4 Schools emailed me today and requested me to submit an explanation why there are more than 4 points score increase. WTH should I say? Will the honest I-STUDIED-HARDER-THIS-TIME.. Addendum be safe? or is that going to be an auto reject??? The fact that score increased 7 points will give me some bonus points at least?! What should I do?
Why should you be penalized for something someone else...noticed?
