Legal aide: would look good on resume? doesn't pay. begins after the mlk holiday through april.
Temp agency: paid, they have been reliable in finding me gigs in the past, could be a possible temp to perm position.
About me: I'm applying next cycle. I'm open to both public interest and biglaw. My current resume includes an internship with a fed agency (i actually did cool work, i didn't just sit at a desk on gmail all summer), an internship abroad, a research internship, and a couple of other volunteer positions sprinkled through out.
Your thoughts?

Re: Which job: legal aid or temp?
I've been working at a temp agency for awhile now. With the exception of the last month, they got me some good positions and kept me working near constantly.
I'm kind of worried that it looks bad on my app though. I think that my long temp tenure may have been what got me dinged at Mich and PR'ed at Duke. Too early to tell though.
If you need the money, you gotta do what you gotta do even if it doesn't look so hot on your app. If you are lucky enough to not need the money, consider legal aid.
