Re: Shocking rejections
lol.
"If an attractive woman salesperson bats her eyes at me and flirts during a professional sales engagement I cease and desist all business ties. It is a very simplistic form of prostitution; attempting to use inappropriate charms to curry favor based on looks or a sexual response. Weak women. Aren't you good enough to compete with the boys professionally without having to resort to such a lame play?"

Yeah, I'd delete that post. Let us not become the evil that we deplore. Guy is obviously crazy, but internet stalking is just wrong.

More than you think - most forums aren't full of uptight people who get their panties in a bunch about this sort of thing. I say it's a free for all.somewhatwayward wrote:i took down the offending post to err on the side of caution. i was actually trying to find his lsn profile bc it wasn't on the list of Rs on lsn, so i typed rookhawk into google.....voila

actually it was kinda funny bc i was at the dentist yesterday in the waiting room, and i wanted to post something via my bb in response to the person calling me a douchebag, but i couldn't log-in. i tried a couple times, being careful to type everything right.
i thought i had gotten banned for that post, heh.

Re: Shocking rejections
It would appear he has a history of distorting the truth on message boards before, also. He got called out for it there, too. However, being older is usually actually an advantage, not something holding a person back; schools mostly take under-25 applicants and love to get qualified older applicants to bring some extra experience to the classroom.s0ph1e2007 wrote:yea there's a ton of stuff about this guy online

The key there, though, is qualified, which he clearly isn't.
It would appear he took his stats out of his LSN profile though. I guess he didn't want people to see his GPA/LSAT were TTT and he was full of shit anymore.

Re: Shocking rejections
Granted, this isn't a school admittance shocker, but it's similar.
I got into NC State UG, listed as top 10% of admitted students for that year. My GPA was hovering somewhere in the 4.5+ range with a 1400 SAT (7th in my class), I played multiple sports, did community service, and was a member of more than a handful of clubs, on top of being a member of student government. I was awarded merit scholarships ranging from a few thousand to full tuition and fees at every school, including NCSU, except for the one school. UNC Charlotte (not to be confused with Chapel Hill).
I didn't apply out of state because I was planning to teach in North Carolina, which never happened.
I still can't figure that one out.

I don't get it. What does being an outspoken internet atheist have to do with all of rookhawk's vague claims that the establishment was threatened by him? Does he think that law schools are filled with Southern Baptists?

Re: Shocking rejections
I am more interested to know why people get all up in arms about someone posting a link on the first page of a google result for his username? Why is posting public information about someone so taboo? If I said go google his username then click on the 3rd link on the result it is any better? Furthermore, how are some of you going to be lawyers if you don't have the stomache for sharing of public info? Just curious.
Seriously? What are you waiting for?
Now there's a charge.
