3.71 and 164 to GULC PT? Forum

Basically what the title says. Decent Soft, undergrad is BSEE, taking patent bar in the spring to try and get a job as a patent agent in DC. Taking FEB LSAT.

So are you anticipating something in the 164 range or will you be retaking? If you are applying after the new score comes in, it's impossible to know. I was accepted into GULC PT with a lower GPA and a 164, but also a 172. Right now I think the 164 makes it too risky. I wouldn't risk getting dinged before that Feb. LSAT came out.

I took Dec. with a 155 they are holding off on the eval until Feb. I am PTing high 160s, but reserving the 164 for those test day anxietys. Did you check "both" or just part time?

I checked both. At first, I thought maybe I should have just checked FT, but they are rejecting/holding people all over, so I am glad to even be admitted to the PT division (especially as a retaker). I do believe that if they would have admitted me FT anyway, they would have even if I checked both.

That makes sense. I will probably go ahead and call them and ask to change my app to PT only. How much worse was your GPA? I mean if you were at a 3.5 then I prob shouldnt even apply, but if it was closer to 3.0 then Ill feel a little better about an upper 160s score maybe getting me in.

3.4 and change with all the low grades isolated to one semester (illness). Not that anything more than the number matters, but I like to think it might.
