Who got a USC Fee Waiver?

Post by Flanker1067 » Mon Jan 11, 2010 9:21 pm

Hey, I am just wondering what numbers USC wants for a fee waiver. I mean, I got one without asking from UCLA, Duke, Penn and Gtown. So over the weekend I asked 4 schools via email. BU said yes, UMich said no, and USC said I didn't qualify.

Ahh see, I have a 171 and they said no. Either they have given out to many or my GPA was not good enough. (3.5?)

I got it just a week ago. My GPA is a 3.82, but I'm not sure that's enough to make up for you having 2 points higher on the LSAT. In my email, I listed my GPA/LSAT, told them I was interested in applying but that financial restrictions were limiting the number of schools I could apply to (Who can spend $1000+ just on apps?), and asked for a fee waiver. They originally asked for verification but then said time is of the essence and just sent me the waiver. Maybe you can try sending another email, perhaps from a different address and see how that goes?

I got one in the mail literally yesterday, unsolicited -- you may still get one, because it seems like your numbers should merit it...

Yea, I'd wait 'til Wednesday, and then email if you didn't get one. Just my 2¢ though.

Maybe it is a GPA thing. Oh well. Nothing I can do now.
