PS on resume?

Post by tristanlxboyd » Mon Jan 11, 2010 4:28 pm

Hey, should I put a personal statement/summary on the resume I submit with my apps, or just a summary of education/work/references? Maybe a spot for personal goals? I'd really appreciate any advice.

No, you should not.

Each piece of your application has it's place, and your resume is not the place to mention anything about your PS. Also, I'd suggest against mentioning personal goals on your resume. Hopefully you have enough to fill out your resume w/o something like that. Adcomms would see through it as fluff.
