O Ells Who Have Already Started Hustling for a Job
POAST ITT
What are you doing to position yourself to beat out your peers? I personally am trying to arrange sit-downs with partners in my 2ndary market through connections at my (non-law) firm.
ITE - It is never too early to start gunning.

Yep, sure is. Nonetheless, ITE, only the strong (and annoying douchey gunners) will survive!
Besides, what is realy wrong with hustling for a job? Everyone has got to eat, neh?

ITT I start a pool for the number of posts before the OP gets banned. I will be measuring from his current post count of 73. Guesses?

What is ban-worthy conduct here? Didn't really bother to read the terms of use. Worst case, I am restricted solely to autoadmit which will probably be better for me timewise anyways.

1150 and 94. Quite a spread. I have a guess, but I don't want to effect the under/over so I'll abstain until everyone's guesses are in.

And offer your fellow 1L's free beer, all they can drink, thus ruining the competition?Cupidity wrote:Working at a pizza place and trying to scrape together the money to open a bar with a buddy.

I'm trying to avoid being a gunner. My hope is I can end up like that dude in the "tatooed lawyer" thread a while back.Desert Fox wrote:And offer your fellow 1L's free beer, all they can drink, thus ruining the competition?Cupidity wrote:Working at a pizza place and trying to scrape together the money to open a bar with a buddy.

I got a haircut the other day! Unless you go out to eat with me and find out I'm a vegan, you'll never know. I'm a hippy agent working from the inside.

we'll see just how useful all of this ends up being if you place in the bottom 10% after your first year. if you wanted to be crazy and start doing stuff now, you're probably better off preparing for 1l i think.

Owning a bar at 20 seems like a great place to be if you are failing out of law school. Alchohol is recession proof my friends.
