How does UVA do it?
If you have a high GPA with a 166/167 lsat and want to go some place in the T14 posters on this board usually advise to apply to UVA Early Decision. How does this not come back to hurt them in the rankings? I'm assuming its just a way to raise their class GPA but if its so effective why doesn't schools like Georgetown and Chicago do the same thing?

The high GPA's boost their median GPA, and they compensate for the lower LSAT's by enrolling high LSAT/low-GPA folks.jacko wrote:If you have a high GPA with a 166/167 lsat and want to go some place in the T14 posters on this board usually advise to apply to UVA Early Decision. UVA is probably the third most splitter-friendly school in the T14, after GULC and NU.
