No "application received" emails from schools
I applied about 10 days ago and I have still not received any email notifications from Berkeley, UCLA, Michigan, or NYU. According to LSAC, all of these schools have since received my LSDAS report. How long should I wait to hear something--anything--from these schools before I contact them and make sure they have my application?

I'm wondering the same thing. I thought I would get a status check email by now (submitted app December 1, LSAC report sent several days ago).

December 1? That's a pretty long time. What school(s)?AustinOrgans wrote:I'm wondering the same thing. I thought I would get a status check email by now (submitted app December 1, LSAC report sent several days ago).

Uconn. My LSAC report was sent 01/04. I figure they don't sent out "complete" emails until they've received your report. But I feel like I should have gotten some sort of confirmation by now.

Ten days ago would be around the holidays. It may be that there are alot of applications that need to be processed and just haven't gotten to your application yet.

Yeah, I took the LSAT Dec. 5; score wasn't released until late Dec.Sauer Grapes wrote:Why did it take LSAC more than a month to send your report? I mean, the holidays were in December, but still.

Just called Uconn. They said it usually takes a week from your LSAC report date for the school to send you a status email. That answers my question, and perhaps does the same for some of the schools you've applied to.

Berkeley just reopened today. NYU takes forever to contact people. Don't know about UCLA or Michigan. I'm waiting on both Berkeley and NYU, too, but don't worry about it.

Re: No "application received" emails from schools
The LSDAS reports take about three-four business days for LSAC to process and then another few days to arrive at the school and be processed there. LSAC has probably sent out your report today, but it won't arrive at Michigan for a few days (unless Michigan takes reports over the internet, not sure). LSAC has sent out most of my reports to schools that applied to on the 4th, although oddly not yet to the school I applied to on the 3rd (not Michigan).minuit wrote:i applied to michigan on 1/3 and just got an email saying they have received my application, but not my LSDAS report.

Berkeley just e-mailed me confirming they received my application. You should probably hear from them this evening.

UConn just confirmed receipt of my application and LSDAS report. They didn't specifically state that my application had 'gone complete,' though. I'm wondering if it's not complete until I submit my application for financial aid . . .

And now I just got the "complete" email. I can move into the final stage of waiting.
