Do I respond to app fee waivers?
I realize this is probably the stupidest question on this board, but I'd really hate to be discourteous to the admissions depts that are giving me fee waivers by not sending them 'thank you' response e-mails if they expect them. I know they would be sifting through tons of e-mails, but I also know it's good to reply to wait-list e-mails. A bit obsessive to worry about this perhaps, but I really don't want a simple faux pas to screw my chances.

I wouldn't. It's probably a form email anyway. I can't imagine responding or not actually affecting their decision.

Fee waiver emails are definitely just form letters. You don't need to worry about responding to them.
