Send an update for my LOR writer's title? Forum

My direct supervisor got a new job, and it's a really prestigious one. He already had a prestigious job but this one's significantly better, with a different organization/company. Can I send an addendum/update to schools? I know LORs are not that weighty, but I'm a splitter who applied recently, so I'm looking for ways to get my app to tip over to the "accept" pile...

Don't bother. LORs only matter marginally, and the LOR-writers' positions matter essentially not at all unless they are nationally famous or employed/previously employed at said law school.

if i wasn't a splitter i wouldn't bother thinking about it...
