Well, what schools are even IN the SE that you didn't list that you have even a remote shot at? You are a splitter and thus harder to predict, but it seems like if you just want the Southeast, there aren't that many more schools. Sounds like Florida specifically. Stetson might give you a good scholarship, but you have them on there.

Why not add Charleston to your list... you'd definitely get in, most likely with mucho dinero and it's a beautiful place to spend three years.wiggsb wrote:Currently I'm applying to the following schools:
University of Florida, Fredric G. Levin College of Law
Florida International University, College of Law
Florida Coastal School of Law
The Florida State University College of Law
Georgia State University College of Law
Louisiana State University, Paul M. Hebert Law Center
Mercer University--Walter F. George School of Law
University of Miami School of Law
Nova Southeastern University--Shepard Broad Law Center
University of South Carolina School of Law
Stetson University College of Law
As you can tell I'd prefer to stay in the southeast. Are there any schools I've left off my list that I should think about including?

Well, that GPA will be at or below the 25th percentile at most schools where a 162 will be at or near the 75th percentile. Therefore, yes, it is a splitter profile to some degree. Yes, 172/2.8 is more a splitter for this site, but 162/3.03 might be harder to predict than 160/3.45 or something like that.am060459 wrote:3.03 and 162 is splitter? wow i did not know that. seriously, no sarcam, splitter?

I call it being an "ultra-weak-splitter" (and I'm one too -- same LSAT, lower GPA). Welcome to the clubam060459 wrote:3.03 and 162 is splitter? wow i did not know that. seriously, no sarcam, splitter?

Wake Forest and UNC. You have a decent shot at Wake. UNC is a good reach. Apply to emory for sh*ts and giggles.
PS:
I basically had the same numbers you had last year.
