Stetson is one of my safeties too, because of the location and scholarships they offer - I requested a fee waivee and they made me fill out a short form and send an explanation. I faxed it to them over the break, so I'm going to call them to make sure they received it. That being said, Laura Zuppo, their admissions director, just about assured me they'd give it out.JCougar wrote:Anyone have any luck with Wisconsin, Florida, FSU or Stetson?
I've heard Wisconsin is reluctant to give them out. and Florida and FSU are only $30 anyways, but Stetson is one of my safeties and I really don't feel like paying the money for an application. My LSAT is way over their 75th percentile.
Is there a way to determine it without actually filling out the app first?ShiftyOne wrote:I checked and have hidden waivers from northwestern and michigan, already sent in NYU so I determine that. No email from nothwestern though, just the hidden waiver.
The only way I know of is to open the app, fill out the required sections, and then going to it like your submitting. If you know what schools your applying to, it shouldn't take too long, I just checked around 16 schools in 10 minutes, so its not too bad.sibley wrote:

Still waiting on Cornell here as well. I want so badly to go there, but I really would rather not pay the fee. Gah, I even customized my fee waiver beggar email just for the school.sibley wrote:Got the NW hidden waiver. Thank God. That thing's a hundred bucks!
Still waiting on Cornell. Meh.
And no hidden waiver from NYU. What, just because I'm below alllll their stats they don't want to help me apply?
Just got an email from... Pettit College of Law???? while writing this.
Was BU unsolicited? I am feeling worse about my 167 since I don't have hidden waivers from Michigan or Georgetown. *sigh*Lonagan wrote:Got UMN and BU this morning.
BC said need based only, Notre Dame said they update CRS once a month. Anyone heard from them this month?
No word from NW, Cornell, or Georgetown.
Unfortunately, I'll only be able to get a merit waiver, as I was gainfully employed for all of last year. Is Stetson's only need-based, or is there a place on the form where you can apply for merit-based?kwhitegocubs wrote:Stetson is one of my safeties too, because of the location and scholarships they offer - I requested a fee waivee and they made me fill out a short form and send an explanation. Wisconsin also asks you to fill out an app- more detailed. They want to know how much tuition you paid, your income last year, and to write them a letter explaining why you want a waiver. Apparently, they do not give out merit fee waivers. I emailed them back with a signed PDF of their form and a letter, so hopefully I'll hear back soon.
Didn't ask Florida or Florida St., so can't help you there.

For anyone who got a solicited BU waiver today, when did you send the request? I emailed them on New Year's Eve, but haven't gotten a reply yet.

I solicited BU, got an out of office reply, then got an e-mail today about a CRS waiver. So, I think it should be treated as unsolicited; looks like they would have sent it whether I e-mailed or not. My e-mail was sent on 12-28 for what it's worth.evergirl23 wrote:Was BU unsolicited?
