This. I know a few people here who came to UT over Vandy/GULC b/c they were the least stingy.
WRT choosing between schools:
It's all relative to who is considering each school. Being from the Northeast it would have been dumb to go to a Vandy or a UT. What works for some, may not work for others, and you can't compare them in a vacuum.

Seriously? I was above both medians and they couldn't give me money? I'm not even sorry, they got what they deserved.

True, and even then UT isn't known for being the most generous. Ultimately, one must choose what is right for them.

Wow. If this is accurate, their medians plummeted.
GPA: 3.32 (-.09)/3.51 (-.10)/3.64 (-.05)
LSAT: 159 (-1)/162 (-2)/164 (-1)
They kept the exact same class size despite having 523 fewer applicants.

Hmm...
I have a friend IRL who I'm watching BC & BU for. I wonder if BU will see a comparable drop or if it will fare better.

I was right at that GPA 75th with a 168 and they offered me 20K a year. In other words, a few grand more than Cornell offered. LOL.

It is possible that BU was able to pull some top applicants from BC to hold their numbers while pushing BC's down...

TTTT Alert!
Willamette College of Law
LSAT: 149(+1)/151(0)/155(+1)
GPA: 3.0(+.19)/3.24(+.16)/3.47(+.11)
Class Size:100 (-25)
Edit: Not a big deal, but Utah has 158 listed as the 25th and it should be the Median. Thanks for updating the spreadsheet, I really do appreciate you taking the time to do it!

But it's employment that matters, not rankings, amirite? BC can be #70 and BU can be #20 but all I care

Edit: Pretty sure BC is dropping to the #40s this year.

BC has always been stingy. But their admissions officers are lovely.

As long as BC and BU have the same employment rates and reputation across the same markets with roughly the the same cost, I don't think BC's medians matter as much as people think it does
BC does better than BU. Always have, always will.

Reputations do change over time if administrations aren't vigilant in protecting their brand.

Vandy really benefited from shrinking their class size, there were just another t-20 a couple of years ago but kudos to their administration from getting them closer to the t-14s.
Seriously? What are you waiting for?
