I still think the most cringeworthy thread was on TLS...the "is it easier to hook up if I go to a more pretigious law school" post...

So USNWR gave UVA and Mich. an 86, while giving Cornell an 82. Can someone explain the difference in scoring? I understand there are a number of components that US news takes into account, but curious what gives UVA and Mich. the edge in scoring.

Thanks for rubbing salt in the wound, Rigo. I've grown more than a little tired of you carrying Spivey's water.

I promise everyone this: never again will I rely on Berkeley and GULC adcomms for inside information about USNWR rankings.

Oh those were the two schools. Something tells me they were hoping if they told enough people that, it would become true.

Tbh Georgetown hasn't been an elite school in terms of job employment for years. It's been the T13 for a while...

Anyone got a flashy name for Georgetown, UT, UCLA, Vandy, WUSTL and USC? Maybe the second six?

Intresting. When you click on schools and look at the info on the school, what do they mean by the "national" or "regional" designation?

For example, Penn State Dickinson Law has a "national" designation. UTK and Georgia State, on the other hand, have a "regional" designation. They all have around the same ranking (GSU and Dickinson are tied for the exact same ranking). It's not like one is viewed as a LS that places nationally, and the other as one that places regionally. I don't get it?

Click on a school and read all of the info. It's right below public/private and year founded

Seriously? What are you waiting for?

Now there's a charge.
Just kidding ... it's still FREE!
