Re: 2014-2015 Fee Waivers
I don't know if this has been mentioned yet, but I solicited a waiver via email and was told:walterwhite wrote:stilllllll no Cornell! Are they just not doing fee waivers? Has anybody actually received a Cornell waiver yet?
Connie M. Pendergast wrote:Hello HRomanus, and thank you for your email and interest in Cornell Law.
We will consider your request for a merit-based fee waiver if you are registered with the LSAC Candidate Referral Service, and took the LSAT on or after February 2014, and/or recently submitted updated information to LSAC (you cannot be considered for a waiver without a LSAT score). Should you be selected to receive an application fee waiver, you will receive an email from us and the fee will be waived for you in advance in the LSAC system.
Let us know if you have any questions, and we look forward to receiving your application.

I received a Cornell waiver at the beginning of the cycle, so they do fee waivers. I just don't think they've sent out a post-september scores wave

UT have extended their fee waiver to November 3rd. This might actually be enough time to send in an application to them!

No. I don't feel bad for the school at all, just annoyed. I do feel bad for the person who is sending the emails because they must be very desperate if they have to work there.DiniMae wrote:Does anyone else feel bad for the schools that send you 5 emails about a guaranteed scholly if you please apply?

Got a targeted UChi recruitment email, but no fee-waiver. Aside from H, I've only received these emails after getting a waiver. Boop

Re: 2014-2015 Fee Waivers
I was waiting for one and ended up looking through the website, and under FAQ's they say that they have a reimbursement system if you submit before you get your waiver. I'm thinking that I should get one from them, but my application was done, so I went ahead and submitted, and am hoping I can get reimbursed later. Gotta say, that $108 checkout fee is terrible looking.walterwhite wrote:stilllllll no Cornell! Are they just not doing fee waivers? Has anybody actually received a Cornell waiver yet?

Cal doesn't give merit based waivers. They give them to TFA/Americorps people and those who have the LSAC waiver.zhongxiaozhui wrote:Has anybody received fee waiver from UCB yet?

I did! 166 after September test (but a 4.0 GPA so if schools see that for waivers, I think that probably has helped me). Not sure exactly when it came though, I got a letter sent to my house 4-5 days ago.Colonel_funkadunk wrote:Did anyone get waivers for Michigan at less than 167?
