They made sure to bold that section in their email.
Spring entering class? That doesn't sound right.

I also just got UT unsolicited, but they said it was only good until November 1, 2014. Did this happen to anyone else?

It's not UT that sent this in their email. They are quoting Florida Coastal in addition to mentioning UT fee waiver.

Yes, but my app has been sitting complete waiting on a waiver for several days now. So it's still good news for me.

Same. Wonder if we could play them off each other in solicitation.

"Dear NYU: I received a fee waiver from Columbia yesterday. But that school is WAY uptown and John's Pizza is practically on your campus. Help a girl out."

I see all these waivers being posted and then I eagerly check my inbox full of hope. And then nothing. :(

GPA- 3.74
LSAT- 175 (took in September)

Solicited- Notre Dame, USC, UCLA, Duke (PT), Georgetown, UVA, Northwestern
Did you solicit for a fee waiver and then get PT, and did you specifically ask for PT when you reached out to them?
I specifically went for the PT since it comes with a fee waiver. They said they'd forward it to the director, who gave it to me like 2 days later.
I tried to solicit, but by the time they got back to me i recieved it through crs. Im not sure they had anything to do with it though

went back to read the actual email
Columbia wrote:On the basis of your performance on the LSAT only, you have been identified as a prospective law school applicant who, on that criterion alone, has demonstrated a capability to contribute to and benefit from a legal education of the first order.
Wow, could they make it any more clear that they think that my GPA is a shameful shameful thing? I GOT IT COLUMBIA, you're only with me for my LSAT.

I'll trade you UCLA for GULC

ETA I really wish swapping fee waivers was a thing
Thing is, I don't even need 'm, as I have an LSAC waiver; I'm just sad when some of my top choices are handing out waivers but do not consider me special enough to get one. But if swapping 'm was a thing I'd be handing the ones I did get out like candy of course, 'cause I'm a nice person
