Baylor has got numbers posted, but I'm not really sure what to do with them. They split it up Spring/Summer/Fall, so we might have to wait for the 509 to get true numbers.

Yeah, but I'm pretty leery of the numbers. The page for their 2014 class is waaayyyy off the official 509 numbers from last year.

I feel like that would be a pretty awkward conversation.

My fave moment was cornblaaaa telling us at transfer orientation how amazing we all are, and then having to awkwardly add in that many of us probably applied originally and didn't get in lol but that we were still amazing back then too.

No one going to comment on Ave Maria going +3 / +4 / +4 ?

I know it's a dumpster fire, but that's impressive.

Yeah I wonder what's up with that. Unfortunately, I doubt there are any TLS Ava Maria 1L's willing to provide an explanation.

That's the Johann effect of advising people to take the free ride and money to shit schools sometimes.

They probably figured out the school was toast (bar passage) with the medians where they were, so they upped scholarships substantially.

Maybe they pulled an Indy Tech and let everyone in for free.

Ave Maria had the highest bar passage in Florida at the February administration, with 83% (though this is drawn from only 12 students sitting, a fact likely lost on most prospective students).

And from their website:
Academic Excellence Scholarships
St. Thomas More Full-Tuition Scholarship
Primary criteria include an LSAT Score of 154 or above and a minimum undergraduate GPA of 3.20.

Dean’s Scholarship: $28,000 - $32,000
Primary criteria include an LSAT score of 150 and a minimum undergraduate GPA of 3.00 or above.

Board Of Governors’ Scholarship: $18,000 - $23,000
Primary criteria include an LSAT score of 146 and a minimum undergraduate GPA of 2.5.

From a sociological standpoint, however, I'm willing to bet that hardline conservative Catholic parents are increasingly pushing their kids towards a place like Ave Maria, with the liberalizing influence of Pope Francis elsewhere within the Church.

Seriously? What are you waiting for?

Now there's a charge.
Just kidding ... it's still FREE!
