Woo got Santa Clara! Cornell still doesn't love me. Or Ohio has abnormally slow mail...

Ok, so I live in Oregon: is it possible Cornell's fee waiver is still in the mail?

Duke missed me (but I am sure that is because of my low GPA). Send UVA an email, I am pretty sure they will give you one. The admissions director sent me one only a few hours before I received the one via CRS (he even let me know that I may receive one from CRS later). All in all I was really impressed with their friendly response.

How fast did UVA reply to you? I sent them an email on Friday and got an out-of-the-office response but they haven't gotten back to me, and I'm wondering if I should send 'em another one...

I would wait *at least* a week. To answer your question though, they responded to me in a few hours. I am in the same situation with BU, sent them an email last Wednesday and contemplating sending them another. I am going to wait a few more days though.dulcatis wrote:How fast did UVA reply to you? Hmm yeah I'll definitely wait a bit. Still waiting on LORs (grrrrr my least favorite thing EVER) so I figure there's no big rush, right? x____x;;
I will be so excited when the damn apps are finally done/in/complete.

I received a ltr in the mail yesterday from Mich State University waiving the app fee and enclosing a list of schollies I would qualify for. It was sort of creepy, however, b/c I had just taken a two hour drive to checkout East Lansing the day before but did this unannounced/under the radar.

170//3.7 here
So far I've received Georgetown, UVA, Minnesota, and the Cornell View book "inviting me to apply so they could see the rest of my application." No waiver.

Santa Clara tonight.
Emailed Georgetown with the request, still waiting to hear back. They responded early the next day asking for my LSAT and GPA, but I haven't heard back since.

Just got a Cornell viewbook yesterday. It included a memo saying, basically, "your numbers are good, we encourage you to apply, here is what's great about us" but it never explicitly said "we are waiving your app fee." Guess that means no waiver? What's the consensus on this?

Kentucky two days ago. Santa Clara yesterday. Hoping to hear from somewhere I'd actually apply to today.

I don't know if it's YP or what, but some people got explicit memos at the bottom detailing a waiver.

I'm in the same boat as missing most yet getting Duke PT/Santa Clara. So the trend continues.acrossthelake wrote:I got Santa Clara. Apparently Duke and Santa Clara are the only ones who use CRS properly???

How long did UVA take to get back to you?acrossthelake wrote:
Already asked and got one. They just missed me through CRS. They were rather friendly!
Edit: Just read the top of the page! Not planning on changing my re-send times (I'm relatively certain this is a busy time of year for admissions staff), was just curious.

Ive given up on trying to understand how on earth the CRS database is setup.. the query system is quite obviously terrible though. Duke PT and Santa Clara but nothing else.The Real Jack McCoy wrote:I'm in the same boat as missing most yet getting Duke PT/Santa Clara. So the trend continues.acrossthelake wrote:I got Santa Clara.
