Maintained medians and raised both 25ths while increasing class size. Not bad.

I think the higher up you go, the better the results you will see (with some outliers for sure) and visa versa the lower down you go. I doubt this is a startling prognostication to most.SplitMyPants wrote:Maintained medians and raised both 25ths while increasing class size. Not bad.

I agree with Spivey. However, you have to imagine that some T14 schools will take a hit. I'm not sure which ones, but I have a hard time believing that all the T14 schools could maintain their medians given that apps were down close to 10% last year. I don't think we will see anything utterly shocking, but schools with big class sizes will be hard pressed to maintain their medians.

All these school with bigger classes and holding their medians.
With apps down, something's gotta give. Which schools really dropped the ball?

Also OP or whoever can edit the spreadsheet, Berkeley's 25th LSAT should be -2 (not +1, went from 166 to 164)

That's got to be a mistake. I was told by a friend who is attending they were aiming for a 167 with a class of 150-160.. So much for that.logicspeaks wrote:At USC orientation today they said the class size was 205 with 3.76/166 medians.

They both could be true. USC was way up at applications this year -- I spoke to their dean of admissions a few months ago and their dean a few weeks ago. They admitted something like 220 off the waitlist last year and less than 10 this year. So perhaps they targeted 167 and a class of 150-160 but got a larger class due to the increase in interest.MikeJD wrote:That's got to be a mistake. Someone please correct me if this is false, but didn't multiple people have access to updating the spreadsheet last year? Not that it really matters but I feel like it was updated almost spontaneously last year...or maybe I am just less patient this year.

I think that ended up with a lot of the data being messed up by trolly types and also people who aren't good at spreadsheets.MikeSpivey wrote:Someone please correct me if this is false, but didn't multiple people have access to updating the spreadsheet last year? Duke/Vandy/USC all hold medians? I'm finished in the contest.
Also -- though I understand the need for limited access to the spreadsheet, whoever has those privileges should add one or two people who can be trusted to edit and can do it quickly (not me).

Vandy and USC still not up on their website like Duke so it might change?

It all might change, because the submission date to ABA will be in Oct, but for the record I just got confirmation on USCMikeJD wrote:jk148706 wrote:Duke/Vandy/USC all hold medians? I'm finished in the contest.

Someone else ITT mentioned that the ABA report was 163 so I changed it to that...james.bungles wrote:Also OP or whoever can edit the spreadsheet, Berkeley's 25th LSAT should be -2 (not +1, went from 166 to 164)
I changed it back to 166 as you said though
Can you someone confirm which one is right?

Sorry for the delay guys, I've been really busy the past few days. Spreadsheet is all up to date though.jk148706 wrote:Duke/Vandy/USC all hold medians? I'm finished in the contest.

Also, taking volunteers (maybe 2 or 3?) to help out with updating the spreadsheet as they start flooding in; pm me your gmail email address if you're interested. - Will not be making it an open spreadsheet though as that's just asking for trouble
