time would be helpful (work a couple years).
Why don't you start a student group where you invite some greek leaders, multi cultural club leaders, student leaders and have "Frank Discussions About Race on Campus" as an effort to have a student-driven initiative to challenge the status quo and help work on race relations on campus (lol). In a year, write your PS about this and how much you learned.

What strikes me is how common groups of frat bros screaming slurs must be. We now know of at least two incidents. Is this what you do, fraternity people? I honestly don't know because I was already old when I went to undergrad and didn't feel like letting people stick things up my butt.sublime wrote:rpupkin wrote:You know we're now in 2014, right?sublime wrote:Ricky-Bobby wrote:OP I would appreciate it if you would respond to my PM. Wow I did not expect this much attention... some of you guys are doing just what the school administrators/news media are doing. Making mountains out of mole hills.
I do appreciate the advice though from some of you. I think I have a good idea of how to handle in it.
FYI: I was suspended with only a couple of others. The fraternity still goes on, but we were all kicked out. It's been difficult as hell and NOBODY can agree with us/sympathize with us which is very depressing.

The media loves these stories. Our case was only in our student newspaper, but I've done research on other situations of our sort and they're everywhere.midwest17 wrote:Can you point us to some examples of this persecution by the news media?frankievallie666 wrote:Wow I did not expect this much attention... some of you guys are doing just what the school administrators/news media are doing. Darn, worth a try.
Enjoy not getting into law school, at least until you fix your attitude. Or maybe troll? Hard to say.

Re: Suspended
The only good way to handle it is to show remorse and repentance. So far, you've shown neither but seek to shift the focus on external factors (the school administration, society). No reasonable adcomm is going to risk their school's reputation, especially when there will be hundreds, if not thousands, of candidates equally qualified but without such a disciplinary record.frankievallie666 wrote:Wow I did not expect this much attention... some of you guys are doing just what the school administrators/news media are doing. Really, think of it from an adcomm's perspective. An application comes across your desk that says "Four week suspension for 'rowdy behavior.'" and tries to describe it in the vaguest terms possible. Your bullshit detector should be blaring. At the very least, you will not be given the benefit of the doubt for any ambiguity.
